Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the FJR iOS application and related sites at fjr.app (“we”, “us”).
By downloading, accessing, or using FJR, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use FJR.
1. The service
FJR provides Fajr-oriented alarm scheduling, dismiss missions, streaks, and related features. It is a lifestyle / productivity tool to support your practice. It does not provide religious rulings, medical advice, or a guarantee that you will wake or pray in every circumstance. Results depend on device settings, operating system limits (including Silent Mode and Focus), battery, permissions, network conditions, and your own actions.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you may only use FJR with permission of a parent or guardian where required.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FJR for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, or resell the app except as allowed by law or Apple’s rules.
4. Subscriptions & billing
- Some features require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple In-App Purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.
- Prices may vary by storefront and are shown in the app / App Store at purchase time.
- Sales are also governed by Apple’s terms. Licensed application end user terms may include Apple’s Standard EULA unless a custom EULA is linked in App Store Connect.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse mission verification (for example deceptive or irrelevant photos intended to bypass the mission)
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload our servers or those of our processors
- Use FJR in violation of law, Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, or others’ rights
- Misrepresent affiliation with FJR
6. Intellectual property
FJR, its name, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
FJR is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that alarms will fire in every OS configuration or that mission verification will always be accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or missed prayers / missed alarms, arising from your use of FJR. Our total liability for any claim relating to FJR will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for FJR subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of FJR or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes & termination
We may update FJR and these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or stop providing FJR (including for abuse, legal risk, or platform changes). You may stop using FJR at any time and cancel subscriptions via Apple.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply and cannot be waived. Courts in Egypt shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
